Revolt Motors has unveiled a new, budget-friendly variant of its popular RV400 motorcycle – the RV400 BRZ. Priced at an introductory ₹ 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom), the BRZ undercuts its standard sibling by ₹ 5,000. This makes it an option for budget-conscious electric bike enthusiasts.
Despite its lower price tag, the BRZ doesn't compromise on performance. It packs the same 3kW mid-mounted motor as the standard RV400. The 72V, 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery delivers a claimed range of up to 150 km in Eco mode, 100 km in Normal mode, and 80 km in Sport mode.
The Revolt BRZ has a charging time of 4.5 hours from 0 to 100%. Additionally, regenerative braking helps top up the battery while one rides, maximising range.
While the BRZ focuses on affordability, it doesn't skimp on essential features from its elder sibling. It comes equipped with a combi-braking system for safe stopping, a side-stand cut-off and a comprehensive digital instrument cluster displaying crucial information like speed, battery level, and riding mode.
Commenting on the launch, Anjali Rattan, Business Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, shares, “Engineered for the modern rider, BRZ is a result of our in-depth study into the needs and preferences of riders who are motorcycling enthusiasts. We recognise that while technology can enhance the riding experience, not every rider requires an extensive array of features. Our commitment to putting riders first led us to create the RV400 BRZ, addressing the gap in the market for those seeking an affordable yet exhilarating biking experience. Our focus on providing value and a thrilling ride experience is at the heart of this model, making sustainable mobility a reality for more riders.”
The new Revolt bike is available in five colours – Lunar Green, Pacific Blue, Dark Silver, Rebel Red, and Cosmic Black – it caters to diverse tastes. One can book online on the Revolt Motors website or at any authorised dealership for a fee of ₹ 499.
