Royal Enfield had previously stated that over 200 engineers across India and the UK were involved in developing this bike which resulted in more than 40 patent applications.
After a long and heightened anticipation, Royal Enfield has finally stepped into the world of electric mobility with the launch of its first battery-powered motorcycle. The Chennai-based bikemaker has officially announced prices for the Flying Flea C6. The C6 debuted as a concept at EICMA 2024 in Milan, before being showcased in India in early 2025.
The Flying Flea C6 is priced at ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Battery-as-a-Service option brings the cost down to ₹1.97 lakh. It will be available for sale from April 10th at the first Flying Flea store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Bookings for the electric motorcycle will commence at 12pm on 10 April 2026, whereas deliveries are set to begin at the end of May.
The Flying Flea C6 blends retro-inspired styling with a layer of modern engineering. It is underpinned by an all-new cage frame constructed from forged aluminium, a choice that helps keep overall weight in check. Royal Enfield will offer the electric motorcycle in two colour schemes – Storm Black and Flea Green.

While its timeless design is a clear draw, the standout feature is the distinctive girder fork suspension. This setup is rarely seen on contemporary motorcycles, giving the C6 a unique edge. More than just a visual talking point, Royal Enfield says the system enhances handling and stability, particularly in urban riding conditions.
On the technology front, the C6 marks a significant step forward for the brand. It comes equipped with a new round touchscreen display that supports voice commands, navigation, and smartphone connectivity. The interface runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, enabling features such as keyless start and stop, and over-the-air updates. Other notable features include wireless phone charging, cornering ABS, traction control, and multiple ride modes: Sport and Individual.

The Flying Flea C6 features a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery housed inside magnesium casings and supported by an efficient air-cooled ventilation system that powers a 15.4kW electric motor through a belt drive. Royal Enfield says a real-world range of around 110 km in the city can be expected, although official figures are yet to be revealed. The electric motor dishes out 60 Nm of torque which helps the bike clock a top speed of 115 kmph.

Royal Enfield is offering selectable charging speed — Rapid, Standard and Trickle — giving riders control over time, efficiency and battery usage based on the rider’s routine. The C6 can be charged using a standard 16A wall outlet, making it easy to top up at home. Its high-voltage architecture also supports fast charging for quicker turnaround times.

For improved long-term battery health, riders can opt for trickle charging, with intelligent software managing the process and giving users greater control. In terms of performance, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in a little over 60 minutes, translating to roughly 1 km of range for every minute of charging.
