The S6 will be the second electric motorcycle under the new Flying Flea brand.
While all eyes were on the new Royal Enfield's first electric motorcycle - Flying Flea C6, the iconic brand had another surprise in store for us. The iconic Indian brand confirmed that the new Flying Flea will be an all-new brand and under it multiple products will be launched in the future. The second electric motorcycle to be launched will be the Flying Flea S6, which is a scrambler variant of the C6. The actual model wasn’t on display but a 3D render of the same was teased in Milan on the sidelines of the Flying Flea C6.
The Royal Enfield scrambler electric bike is based on the C6 but gets a lot of new components for a more rugged and functional purpose. First up is the raised mudguard and off-road tyres that give it a bit of a dirt bike look from the front. Unlike the Flying Flea C6 which gets a nice brushed aluminium finish on its forged frame, the S6 opts for a stealthier black treatment. The faux fuel tank shape is the same but gets revised graphics while one can spot a new centre panel. The Flying Flea C6 will be offered as a single-seat option as standard, the Flying Flea S6 gets a longer and bigger seat which can accommodate a pillion too.
The other big change is the use of conventional USD fork instead of the unique girder fork setup seen on its sibling. Royal Enfield engineers have done so as to increase the suspension travel and the scrambler runs on spoke wheels. Royal Enfield hasn’t divulged many details regarding its electric bike specifications, but did mention that they are targeting a top speed of 115 kmph and a range of around 160 km for the Flying Flea C6. We expect similar specs on the Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 too. The scrambler electric bike is expected to make its global debut in 2026,a few months after the C6 goes on sale.
