It’s now the second most popular bike from Royal Enfield behind the Classic 350.
When the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 made its debut in August last year there was a bit of scepticism. With the Hunter 350 was Royal Enfield diluting its brand, will bikers appreciate a Royal Enfield which is physically smaller and also so different from its siblings. The verdict is out and the Hunter 350 has hit it out of the park. According to the brand, the Hunter 350 has crossed the 2 lakh sales milestone within a year of its launch!

In fact, the Hunter 350 had managed to clock the first 1 lakh sales within 6 months of its launch and it’s the second highest selling Royal Enfield bike behind the Classic 350. The average monthly sales figure for the Hunter 350 is around 16,000 to 17,000 units, while that for the RE Classic 350 is between 26,000 and 27,000 units. The Hunter 350’s success can be credited to its approachability and affordability.

It was the third bike under the new J-platform and although it employed the same 350cc, single-cylinder engine as the Classic 350, it’s much lighter. The Hunter 350 is also the only RE bike to feature 17-inch wheels, which made the seat height very accessible. The low seat height, being the lightest Royal Enfield bike and the affordable price tag have all contributed to the success of the Hunter 350. It was positioned as a motorcycle that will attract a new set of youngsters into the Royal Enfield family and given the sales figures, the Hunter has clearly hunted its rivals.
