The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is available in two variants, both of which have a price difference of ₹7,000.
Royal Enfield has introduced the new Scram 440 in two new variants: Trail and Force. The former is priced at ₹2.08 lakh, and the latter will set you back by ₹2.15 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). The two variants target riders of different preferences, thereby both variants boast of distinct characteristics. Therefore the difference between the two primarily boils down to their respective hardware components.
The Trail variant is designed for off-road enthusiasts, thereby it features traditional spoke wheels and tube-type tyres. There are only two colour options on offer here — Trail Blue and Trail Green, both in matte finishes

In contrast, the Force variant caters to touring riders which can be deciphered from the alloy wheel and tubeless tyre setup it comes with. This variant is available in three colour options – Force Blue, Force Grey, and Force Teal.
Beyond these differences, both variants share the same 443 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 25.4 bhp and 34 Nm. One of the biggest key improvements made to the bike this year include the addition of a six-speed gearbox, and switchable dual-channel ABS. The latter should help indulge in some light off-road trails. The other additional upgrades include an LED headlight, which is the same unit that first debuted on the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.
