The segment leader is banking on exports and new products to drive sales.

FY 2024-25 was a cracking year for Royal Enfield with respect to sales as the company breached the 1 million sales mark for the first time in its history. Despite its amazing run, Royal Enfield has no plans to slow down, in fact, the company has set itself a target of 1.1 million units for FY 2025-26. The above target is ambitious but given the fact that it controls almost 90 per cent of the 250-750 cc segment in our market, things do look favourable for the iconic Indian brand.

Domestic sales have been going strong and one of the key reasons for it is the introduction of new motorcycles and refresh or updates of its existing portfolio. A good example of the latter is the introduction of the 2025 Classic 350 and the new colour shades offered on the Hunter 350. Royal Enfield is also focusing on exports to improve its overall sales and will be banking on the 450 cc motorcycles, the Himalayan 450 and the Guerilla 450, along with its thriving 650 Twins platform to drive sales.

On the domestic front, Royal Enfield is planning to add over 100 dealerships this FY in growing markets such as Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the Northeast. These new markets help amplify sales further as they are untapped and display great potential. Another big highlight for the company is the EV business.

Royal Enfield's debut electric bike, the Flying Flea C6 debuted in India earlier this year.

In 2026, Royal Enfield will also be launching its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea. Traditionally, the Indian electric two-wheeler segment has been dominated by scooters and motorcycles haven’t found much success. It will be interesting to see whether the Flying Flea electric bike can make an impact or not. On the product end, we can expect the Bullet 650, Continental 450 and the Interceptor 750 and the Himalayan 750 to make their debut in the next FY.
