The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Ring is finally available in India, the company announced on Monday, thus, marking the expansion of the health-tracking device into global markets. The the Samsung Galaxy Ring was originally unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z6 series foldable smartphones in July.
Prospective buyers in India have time until October 15 to secure their spot for the Galaxy Ring by placing a refundable deposit of Rs 1,999 through Samsung's official website or major e-commerce platforms like Amazon India and Flipkart. This pre-order window suggests an imminent official launch in the country.
Samsung is sweetening the deal for early buyers, offering a complimentary Wireless Charger Duo with each pre-order. The Galaxy Ring package includes a charging case and data cable, ensuring users have everything they need to get started.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will initially be available without any subscription fees. Users can expect seamless integration with the Samsung Health app, mirroring the experience of the company's popular Galaxy Watches.
The Galaxy Ring boasts an impressive array of features packed into its sleek design. Weighing between 2.3g and 3g depending on size, the ring is crafted from durable Grade 5 titanium and offers 10ATM water resistance. Available in nine sizes and three elegant colours: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold, the Galaxy Ring aims to cater to diverse preferences.
One of the standout features is the incorporation of Galaxy AI, which generates detailed health reports based on various metrics. The innovative Energy Score provides personalised recommendations by analysing sleep patterns, activity levels, and heart rate data, empowering users to make informed decisions about their well-being.
With a claimed battery life of up to seven days on a single charge, the Galaxy Ring promises to be a low-maintenance yet powerful addition to Samsung's wearable ecosystem.
