Samsung Galaxy S24 FE goes on sale on October 3 in India.
Samsung on Friday introduced its latest fan edition smartphone (FE), the Galaxy S24 FE, in India. This new device brings flagship features to a more accessible price point, offering consumers a taste of premium technology without breaking the bank, in typical FE fashion. The Galaxy S24 FE's sale date is October 3. However, prospective buyers can already pre-book the device through the Samsung India website and select retail stores.
The Galaxy S24 FE starts at Rs 59,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with the 8GB + 256GB model priced at Rs 65,999. However, as part of the pre-booking offers, customers can snag the 256GB version at the price of the 128GB model. Additional benefits include a discounted Samsung Care+ package and no-cost EMI options for up to 12 months.
Taking cues from its flagship counterpart, the Galaxy S24 FE sports a design reminiscent of the vanilla Galaxy S24 model. The device boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, featuring a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 FE is powered by Samsung's own Exynos 2400e chipset, built on a 4nm process. The device comes with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
There is a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This is complemented by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, a 10-megapixel front-facing camera.
Running on Android 14 with Samsung's One UI 6.1 overlay, the Galaxy S24 FE comes loaded with Galaxy AI features. These include Google's Circle to Search, Live Translate, Note Assist, Interpreter mode, and Composer, bringing advanced functionality to users' fingertips.
A substantial 4,700mAh battery powers the device, with support for 25W wired charging to keep you going throughout the day. The Galaxy S24 FE is future-proofed with 5G support, alongside other connectivity options such as LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. Security features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and Samsung's Knox Vault technology.
