Limited to just 500 units, the Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition is positioned between Style and the Monte Carlo variant.
Skoda has launched the Kushaq Matte Edition, in India at a starting price of Rs. 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom, India). and goes up to Rs. 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This special edition of the Kushaq compact SUV, available at a premium of Rs. 40,000 over the Style trim, showcases a new exterior paint scheme and additional creature comforts. Limited to just 500 units, the Kushaq Matte Edition aims to bridge the gap between the flagship Style variant and the special Monte Carlo variant. The new special edition joins the Onyx Edition that was launched a while back.

The most noticeable feature of the Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition is its Carbon Steel paint, which adorns the body in a matte finish. To complement this distinct look, the ORVMs, door handles, and rear spoiler are finished in Glossy Black against the matte bodywork. Skoda has also incorporated chrome finishes on certain elements, such as the grille, trunk garnish, and window garnish to make them stand out from the rest of the matte body.
In terms of technology and entertainment, the Kushaq Matte Edition does not disappoint. It boasts a 10-inch infotainment system, compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moreover, the vehicle comes equipped with the Škoda Sound System, consisting of six speakers and a subwoofer. Additionally, users can enjoy a wide array of Škoda Play apps, further enhancing their driving pleasure.
Under the hood, the Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition is available in both 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine configurations, coupled with a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DSG. The smaller turbo generates 120 bhp while the larger displacement trim generates 148 bhp.
