Sony launches WF-1000XM5 TWS Earbuds in India: Pricing & Features

Sony has officially launched its latest truly wireless earbuds - the WF-1000XM5. Sony's flagship 1000X series is known for its superior audio experience, and the WF-1000XM5 TWS earbuds aim to take it to the next level with unmatched noise cancellation, immersive sound quality, and call clarity.

On the design front, the WF-1000XM5 earbuds are 25% smaller and 20% lighter than their predecessor for all-day wearing comfort. The ergonomic shape modelled after the human ear provides a secure and stable fit. Sony is also giving four sizes of ear tips, including an ultra-small size for a comfortable fit.

The WF-1000XM5 features state-of-the-art noise cancelling technology, including Sony's HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN2e and integrated V2 processor to deliver the best noise cancellation performance on the market. The earbuds feature a specially designed Dynamic Driver X unit for wide-frequency reproduction and crystal-clear audio. With three microphones on each earbud, including dual feedback mics, ambient noises are captured more accurately than in the previous generation.

The WF-1000XM5 earbuds promise an unmatched music experience with technologies like LDAC and DSEE Extreme for Hi-Res Audio Wireless playback, 360 Reality Audio for immersive listening, and a lightweight diaphragm for richer vocals and deeper bass.

Sony India has also announced a special pre-booking offer for the WF-1000XM5 at ₹21,990 (including a Rs. 3000 cashback). Those pre-ordering the 1000XM5 between September 27 and October 15 will get a free SRS-XB100 portable speaker worth ₹4,990. After October 15, the 1000XM5 will be available at ₹24,990.
