The 1000XM5 TWS earbuds offer improved sound quality and feature a smaller and lighter design.
Sony has unveiled its highly anticipated WF-1000XM5 earbuds, the newest addition to their award-winning 1000X series of truly wireless earbuds. Building on the success of its predecessor, the WF-1000XM4, this latest TWS earbuds offer improved sound quality and a comfortable fit while featuring a smaller and lighter design. Here are the key specifications and features of the WF-1000XM5:
It is equipped with two proprietary processors: Integrated Processor V2 and HD Noise Canceling Processor QN2e, which deliver exceptional noise-cancelling quality.
It features a new high-performance driver unit, Dynamic Driver X, for wide frequency reproduction, deep bass, and detailed vocals.
Each earbud has three microphones, including dual feedback mics for improving low-frequency cancellation performance.
These TWS earbuds have improved glossy texture and in-hand feel, providing a comfortable fit while blocking external sounds.
The Earbud body is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the WF-1000XM4, with a smaller charging case.
It offers up to 8 hours of earbud charge and 16 hours of additional charging capability via the charging case, providing up to 24 hours of total playback time.
A 3-minute quick charge offers up to 60 minutes of playtime.
It supports Qi wireless charging technology for easy charging.
The WF-1000XM5 earbuds are IPX4 rated, making them sweat and splash-resistant.
The earbuds support High-Resolution Audio Wireless with LDAC and 24-bit audio processing for studio-like sound quality.
The bone conduction sensors pick up your voice directly from your skull bones, minimizing background noise for clear calls.
A wind noise-reduction structure and a microphone mesh wrap further minimize noise during calls.
The WF-1000XM5 is priced at $299.99 and is available in black and silver.
Sony will launch the WF-1000XM5 in India soon.
