Suzuki India has crossed another major milestone by manufacturing its 8 millionth two-wheeler at its Kherki Dhaula plant in Gurugram. It managed to achieve this feat in just 19 years of its operation in the country, and the last 1 million units were manufactured in the past one year. To celebrate this achievement, the brand has also announced special sales and service offers for its customers — the details of which are yet to specified.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited began its operations in February 2006 with the mass production of its flagship scooter, the Access 125. Catapulted by its philosophy of ‘Product of Superior Value’, the brand managed to achieve its 4 million production milestone within just 13 years. Which further boosted them to achieve the next 4 million production milestone in just six years.
