The event witnessed over 4,600 bikers participate in the first-ever Suzuki Matsuri to be hosted in Mumbai.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) held its third edition of the Matsuri motorcycle festival in Mumbai on December 1. This was the first occasion that Mumbai hosted the Suzuki Matsuri, which is a day-long, brand-specific motorcycle event. However, the event was open also for non-Suzuki owners, and we could see riders from various brands, such as KTM, Royal Enfield, Honda, and many other manufacturers, participating in the event.
Speaking about the event, Devashish Handa, Executive Vice President - Sales, Marketing, and After Sales, at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, “Suzuki Matsuri is a heartfelt ode to the passion, innovation, and camaraderie that defines the spirit of motorcycling. This celebration is not just an event; it is our way of paying homage to the phenomenon of motorcycling, which inspires and drives us forward. It reflects our unwavering commitment to connect with our customers, foster long-term relationships, and celebrate the enduring bond we share with the riding community at large. We are deeply grateful to every participant who joined us in this journey, making Suzuki Matsuri not just an experience but a lasting memory that embodies the true Suzuki spirit.”
The highlight of the event for bikers was the Suzuki big bike stall, where enthusiasts could pose with iconic bikes such as the Suzuki Hayabusa, Katana, and more. There was also a special track designed to offer riders a unique gymkhana experience and also a short off-road track for V-Strom 250 owners. There were also expert interactions where many renowned riders shared tips on motorcycle riding and touring. Finishing off the evening in style was DJ Sazi, who kept the participants entertained and grooving through the evening.
