Motorcycles sport a distinctive white paint scheme with bold "Police" lettering
In a move to bolster road safety and equip officers for better patrolling, Suzuki Motorcycle India donated 40 customised Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 motorcycles to the Gurgaon Police Department. This initiative is part of Suzuki's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The handover ceremony, which took place recently, was officiated by Vikas Arora, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, and Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India.

These Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 motorcycles are not your standard showroom models. They've been fitted with specific features to aid law enforcement officials. For enhanced visibility on the road, the motorcycles sport a distinctive white paint scheme with bold "Police" lettering. This two-fold approach ensures that the motorcycles are easily recognisable from afar, both day and night. Finally, the motorcycles are equipped with red and blue flashing lights and a siren. These features are crucial for signalling to motorists and pedestrians, and for clearing paths when necessary.
The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 itself is a well-suited platform, a single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine with a displacement of 249cc delivering a peak output of 25 bhp and 22 Nm. Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 has a long travel telescopic fork and a monoshock suspension with 7-step preload adjustability. Braking performance is ensured by disc brakes on both wheels, with the added safety of dual-channel ABS. The 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel combination, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres, offers a balance between on-road agility and light off-road capability, making the V-Strom SX 250 well-suited for navigating urban environments and occasional ventures onto unpaved surfaces.
Suzuki Motorcycle India's donation shows its dedication to road safety. By giving these motorcycles to Gurgaon Police, Suzuki is making roads safer for everyone. These bikes will help police respond faster and patrol more efficiently.
