Toyota has updated the Glanza for 2026, and the changes go well beyond a new bumper. The hatchback gets a different engine, a CNG automatic option and a feature list that now includes Level 2 ADAS. It remains closely related to its Maruti cousin while keeping a unique identity. Here is a summary of what has changed.

Toyota Glanza Price and Range
Prices start at ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the E trim, which is sold only as a petrol manual. That is ₹26,000 more than the outgoing model's starting price. The top V(O) AMT variant costs ₹10.98 lakh. Toyota offers five grades: E, S, G, V and V(O), with 13 configurations in total. CNG is available only on the S and G grades.
Toyota Glanza Design
The front end has been redrawn, with a new grille, a sportier bumper and chrome detailing around the lamps. Side skirts and a shark-fin antenna complete the exterior changes. Toyota offers seven colours: Sportin Red, Digital Teal Green, Bluish Black, Cafe White, Gaming Grey, Insta Blue and Enticing Silver. The car measures 3,990 mm in length, with a 2,520 mm wheelbase.
Toyota Glanza Engine and Gearbox
A new 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit replaces the earlier four-cylinder motor. It makes roughly 82 bhp and 112.4 Nm in petrol form. In CNG mode, output drops to around 69 bhp and 101.8 Nm. Buyers can choose a manual or an AMT with either fuel, and idle start/stop is fitted to all variants.
Claimed efficiency stands at 23.80 kmpl (MT) and 24.77 kmpl (AMT) for petrol. The CNG versions are rated at 33.61 km/kg (MT) and 34.47 km/kg (AMT). The petrol tank holds 37 litres, while CNG variants add a 55-litre (water equivalent) gas cylinder.
Toyota Glanza Features
Higher trims bring a 22.86 cm touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, a Clarion-branded sound system, a wireless charger and ventilated seats. The top trims add a head-up display and a 360-degree camera. Toyota's i-Connect app handles remote lock and unlock, live tracking, geofencing and vehicle health alerts. It also works with smartwatches.
Toyota Glanza Safety
Six airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control and hill hold come as standard on every variant. The V(O) adds Level 2 ADAS, covering adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, high beam assist and autonomous emergency braking.
Toyota Glanza Ownership
Toyota backs the car with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty and says its sales and service network now has over 1,450 touchpoints across 900-plus cities.
Our take
The facelift keeps the Glanza's established strengths, which are a practical cabin and low running costs, and adds equipment that was previously out of reach in this segment. The price rise is modest for the petrol manual, but petrol MT and AMT versions now cost up to Rs 1 lakh more than the outgoing model. Buyers should compare trims carefully, as much of the new technology sits higher up the range. The G is likely to suit most people, while the V(O) is the one to consider if ADAS matters.
