Toyota has opened bookings for the Hilux Black Edition, with deliveries set to begin in March 2025.
Toyota has expanded its Hilux lineup in India with the launch of a new Black Edition, priced at ₹37.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest iteration follows a growing trend of automakers introducing blacked-out special editions, as seen earlier with Tata and Mahindra. The Hilux Black Edition primarily features cosmetic updates while retaining its existing mechanical specifications. Toyota has opened bookings for the Hilux Black Edition, with deliveries set to begin in March 2025.
The Hilux Black Edition distinguishes itself with an all-black exterior treatment, enhancing the rugged appeal of Toyota’s popular pick-up. The vehicle sports a black-coloured radiator grille, 18-inch black alloy wheels with customised hub caps, and additional black elements on the ORVM covers, door handles, fender garnish, and fuel lid garnish.
Inside, the Black Edition features premium leather upholstery and a dual-zone climate control system, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8-way powered driver seat. Other convenience features include an auto-dimming IRVM and a reverse parking camera.
Under the hood, the Hilux Black Edition retains the same 2.8-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine as the standard model. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. There are no mechanical changes in this special edition.
