The updates were introduced by TVS during a special service initiative called Carecraft Camp.
TVS has silently updated Apache RTR 310. This is its naked sport motorcycle and these updates were introduced by the company during a special service initiative organised by the brand known as Carecraft Camp. The main purpose of this camp was to improve the riding experience of customers of this motorcycle. This was done at the same time to address certain issues that have plagued the motorcycle since its launch.
One of the main changes made to the bike included replacing the seat cushion for better comfort. The stock handlebar was also swapped for a slightly heavier unit which has helped minimise vibrations.
Most importantly, TVS has tweaked the bike’s ECU software which has addressed a very critical issue of throttle lag. The overall throttle response is expected to improve clearing out most of the issues. Additionally, TVS has also re-routed the Quickshifter cable which in the previous setup was compromised since the knuckle guards pressed the clutch lever slightly, and that led to it malfunctioning.
Aside from the above, the TVS Apache RTR 310 does not receive any changes. It continues to be powered by the same 312.12 cc, single-cylinder engine making 35 bhp and 28.7 Nm. This engine is also available with the Apache RR 310, and the BMW G 310 R, G 310 RR, and G 310 GS. This update comes soon after TVS issued a recall of its iQube electric scooter over a potential loose floorboard panel. Read more about it here.
Prices for the TVS Apache RTR 310 have also remained the same and the bike continues to be priced from ₹2.50 lakh onwards and goes up to ₹2.72 lakh onwards. There are additional Dynamic Kit and Dynamic Pro Kit. The Dynamic Kit, priced at ₹ 18,000 offers fully adjustable suspension and the Dynamic Pro Kit, priced at ₹ 22,000 adds electronic rider aids and a temperature-controlled seat.
