TVS has manufactured its one millionth iQube electric scooter at its Hosur plant.
TVS Motor Company has achieved a major milestone in the domestic electric vehicle sector with the official rollout of its one millionth TVS iQube electric scooter from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hosur.
The TVS iQube is manufactured in India for domestic and international markets, reflecting the company's heavy investments in in-house research and development, domestic component localisation, and ecosystem development.
Commenting on the production milestone, Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, stated that manufacturing one million units demonstrates the massive scale at which electric two-wheelers are becoming an integral part of daily life for Indian commuters. He added that the achievement is built on years of structured investments in manufacturing infrastructure and engineering capabilities, positioning India to emerge as a prominent global leader in the future of clean mobility.

Since its initial commercial market debut in 2020, the TVS iQube has established itself as a popular electric vehicle in the country. To address the diverse requirements of different customer demographics, TVS has steadily expanded the iQube portfolio to include multiple battery pack capacities, various certified riding ranges, and advanced connected vehicle technologies.
This product diversification is backed by a big sales and service footprint comprising more than 3,300 physical touchpoints spread across over 3,000 cities, allowing the brand to make electric two-wheelers highly accessible to both urban and semi-urban buyers nationwide.
Since launch, TVS iQube users have collectively logged more than 14.94 billion kilometres on public roads under real-world operating conditions. TVS claims that this cumulative mileage has effectively prevented 522,969 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions from entering the atmosphere. According to environmental metrics released by the automaker, the total carbon offset achieved by these electric scooters is equivalent to planting approximately 20.9 million trees.
