The one-make series has helped the brand unearth budding talent over the years
TVS has announced that for the 2025 season of the Petronas TVS India One Make Championship, the selection rounds will be held in nearly a months’ time. The series that began decades ago is perhaps India’s finest talent search arena where it finds and nurtures raw potential into national heroes. And the select few who really stand out get to have a full-fledged career as a factory-backed rider.
The selection rounds for the four one-make series, i.e. Women’s, Rookies, RR310 and Young Media, will take place between May 9-11 at the Madras International Circuit. The riders will be trained and timed, only for the fastest to get selected for the whole season.
On the announcement, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “TVS Racing is driven by the passion for motorsport and a commitment to shape the future of racing talent in India. Through our pioneering 'Track to Road' philosophy, we don’t just build champions—we bring cutting-edge race technology to our high-performance TVS Apache motorcycles, ensuring that every rider experiences the thrill of innovation. Safety remains a top priority, with participants equipped with high-standard gear, including Alpinestar airbag jackets, FIM-certified helmets, and FIM-spec racing suits, along with personalized race-tuned machines. We wish all participants an exciting season ahead.”
