The Moto Morini Allthrike 450 will lock horns against the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the CF Moto 450.
Moto Morini has made its ADV range more accessible with the launch of its first small-displacement off-road bike, the Allthrike 450. Powered by a brand new engine, the Moto Morini Allthrike 450 competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure range, and the yet-to-launch-in-India CF Moto 450.
The biggest talking point here is the new parallel-twin mill. This liquid-cooled engine produces 44.2 bhp and 42 Nm, which makes it slightly more powerful than the KTM 390 Adventure. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, and it is good for a top speed of 150 kmph. There are no ride modes on offer, and aside from traction control, the Moto Morini Allthrike 450 feels and reads quite basic otherwise.
But it's that aggressive, and radical styling that will grab your attention here. The headlight cowl, with its compact shape and LED DRL design, makes the Allthrike 450 look quite unconventional. Making it an ideal off-road contender is the hardware on offer here. The new Moto Morini Allthrike 450 is built around a steel trellis frame, which is suspended by Kayaba-sourced 41 mm USD fork and monoshock with 208 mm and 190 mm of travel, respectively. The front fork gets preload, rebound and compression adjustability, while the monoshock is available with preload and rebound adjustability only.
Braking duties are carried out by a single 320 mm/ 255 mm disc brake. Making matters more rugged and practical is the 21-inch front wheel with tubeless spoke wheel, and the 18-inch rear wheel also gets tubeless spoke units.
The Moto Morini Allthrike 450 will be available in two variants – Standard and High Equipped. The former is available in just two shades – Green and Black. While the latter gets a white option too, plus standard fitments like handguards, heated seat, and heated grips too. With all the hardware onboard, the Moto Morini Allthrike 450 is quite the heavy option at 190 kg (dry weight). However, with that massive 18.5-litre fuel tank, it seems to be quite the practical option during long-distance trips, without the occasional refuelling stops.
Pre-orders for the new Moto Morini Allthrike 450 have started in Europe. Deliveries will commence in September. Ahead of that, we expect to catch the bike in the flesh in Milan at the 2025 EICMA. So stay tuned to this space, for there is a lot to come.
