Bhat aligns with the brand’s aeronautical inspirational roots, playing a key role in the development of the F77
Creator of India’s first performance electric motorcycle: the F77, Ultraviolette has appointed Vinayak Bhat as its Chief Product Officer. Bhat has been with the company for a few years and will oversee the development of the electric sport bike maker’s future product portfolio as Ultraviolette aims to branch out to global avenues.
Much like the Ultraviolette founders, Niraj and Narayan, Vinayak too shares his appreciation for everything aeronautical, having previously worked at ISRO and Safran Energy, the latter being aides of Boeing and Airbus. At Ultraviolette, he has been working on improving the F77 and has played a key role in building the F77 Mach 2 as well as developing the F99 Racing platform.
With regards to his new role, Vinayak shared, “I've witnessed Ultraviolette's unwavering pursuit of innovation. My goal is to craft exceptional products for global markets through our strategy of vertical integration - Specifically across critical elements like the battery technology, drivetrain and vehicle architecture. Our aim: redefine standards and solidify Ultraviolette’s position as a global leader in electric mobility.”
Ultraviolette had recently opened its first Space Station touchpoint in Pune and will be opening up a few more soon enough. The F77 Mach 2 has really stepped up the performance gains while becoming more affordable in the process. Here’s what we experienced on our brief ride with the new F77 Mach 2.
