It is the first international market where Ultraviolette Automotive has opened a dealership.
Further expanding its presence, Bengaluru-based EV company, Ultraviolette Automotive, has entered the Nepal EV segment. The expansion marks the company's first international venture, complementing its presence in five Indian cities and its planned exports to Europe.
Ultraviolette has partnered with The Kedia Group to inaugurate this new facility which is situated at Narayanchaur, Naxal. Like all UV dealerships in India, this new facility in Nepal will also be branded the "UV Space Pod." It'll span across 800 sq.ft and will function as a comprehensive sales, service, and spare parts center. It will also come equipped with digital diagnostic tools that will help maintain direct technical support from Ultraviolette's Bengaluru headquarters. This expansion follows the company's recent dealership openings in Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Hyderabad.
Its flagship offering, the UV F77 Mach2, will be on display at the showroom , along with all its accessories.
The F77 Mach2 arrived on the scene after UV updated the F77 earlier this year with new colours, a more powerful electric motor, and many new features, including 10 levels of regen braking. We have already ridden the latest F77 Mach2, and to learn how the bike rides and feels, check out our review video below:
Speaking on the occasion of the launch of this new store in Nepal, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-Founder of Ultraviolette, commented, "The launch of the UV Space Pod in Nepal aligns with our mission to transform the way we look at mobility. Nepal's thriving motorcycling scene and beautiful landscape is an ideal setting for this milestone. This new Space Pod highlights Ultraviolette's dedication to advancing sustainable mobility and delivering an exceptional experience for motorcyclists."
Besides expanding into different markets, Ultraviolette Automotive is also working on a new electric superbike called the F99. It will help the company break two national records — the Indian motorcycle with the highest top speed, and the Indian quickest motorcycle to do the quarter-mile run. The title for the former record is currently held by the TVS Apache RR 310 Asia Road Racing Championship One-make race bike that set a top speed of 215.9 kmph. With the F99, Ultraviolette Automotive would be targeting at least 220 kmph to set the record. These speed runs will take place at the upcoming Valley Run in late November at the Amby Valley airstrip.
