Deliveries for the new Ultraviolette Tesseract will start from 2026 onwards, though.
It's been just two weeks since Ultraviolette launched the Tesseract, and within this short period, it has already raked up 50,000 bookings. Ultraviolette will sell these 50,000 Tesseracts at its introductory price of ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which was earlier reserved for the first 20,000 bookings only. But from now onwards, the electric scooter will be retailed at its original price of ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Ultraviolette also showed a map showcasing the regions with the most bookings. It's no surprise that southern states are leading the charge, followed by western regions, and lastly, the eastern region has the most bookings. There were a handful of bookings in Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir, too—all of which suggest the strong popular acceptance Ultraviolette has received for the electric scooter.

Besides that "Cyberpunk" styling, details about the new Tesseract are still limited. We know it will be available with three battery pack options – 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh – that will be good for 162 km, 220 km, and 260 km of IDC-claimed range, respectively. All three batteries will power a 20 bhp electric motor, which is good for a top speed of 125 kmph, while the 0-60 kmph dash can be done in just 2.9 seconds. As for its charging times, Ultraviolette claims that the Tesseract's battery can be charged from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in just 30 minutes. However, the most significant talking point of the Tesseract is that it will be the first scooter in the market to come with ADAS functionalities. How helpful it will be and how clever of an addition is it, is something we can't wait to find out. So stay tuned to this space for all the latest news about the upcoming Tesseract.
