The festive month will witness a couple of new launches from an electric mini-bike to a bobber variant of a popular retro motorcycle.
The upcoming festive month will be quite an exciting time, especially for two-wheeler enthusiasts. While 2024 has already seen a slew of new launches – from the biggest Pulsar yet to the world’s first CNG motorcycle to a thoroughbred Italian sub-500 cc sportbike – October 2024 will carry forward the same momentum. With a couple of new motorcycles awaiting launches, a bunch of existing products that will undergo updates as well.
The first two-wheeler to launch next festive month will be BMW’s second fully electric offering, the CE 02, on October 1. Unlike the CE 04, the BMW CE 02 will be a relatively more affordable alternative. Designed and engineered for urban use, the BMW CE 02 can reach a top speed of 95 kmph, and its battery will be good for 90 km of range. Just like the new 2025 Triumph Speed 400, the Scrambler 400X is also slated to receive a small update. The former gained a bunch of new colour options, premium rubber and a more comfortable seat. The Triumph Scrambler 400X is expected to be updated on the same lines. Beyond that, mechanically, the Scrambler 400X will remain the same.
Royal Enfield will continue to have an arsenal of new bikes slated for launch in the coming months. But in October 2024, the Chennai-based manufacturer will launch its fifth 650 cc offering with the new Interceptor Bear 650. The latest will be a scrambler based on the Interceptor 650 and it will be characterised by a rugged look, and different hardware components as well. We have already spotted test mules of the same before; tap the link here for a more detailed rundown of the upcoming bike.
Royal Enfield unveiled the new Classic 350 in rich colour and shiny chrome outfits just last month. However, this being the year of the Classic, the retro bike is likely to spawn a new bobber avatar. The trademarked design of the bike showcases that the upcoming Classic-based bobber will feature mini ape hangers, white-wall tyres, and a new split grab rail design. Beyond these aesthetic changes, expect the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 to debut with new rich or funky colour options to attribute to its ‘Goan’ character.
