With the festive season coming to an end, the surge of new cars, SUV launches and unveilings is also reducing.
With the festival season now coming to an end, the spree of launches by auto manufacturers will reduce. However, there are a handful of new car and SUV launches and unveilings left for the rest of the year. Here are four new cars and SUVs coming to the Indian market in November 2024.
Unveil: November 4, 2024
Expected Price: ₹20 lakh onwards (ex-showroom, India)
Starting off this list is the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept-based electric vehicle (EV) that will make its global debut later this week. It will be Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle and will share its platform with Toyota for its upcoming EV. Details remain scant but the eVX is expected to have a 60 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of more than 500 km.
Unveil: November 6, 2024
Expected Price: ₹9 - 14 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
The Kylaq will be Skoda Auto India’s most affordable SUV in India. The subcompact SUV will be based on the same MQB-A0-IN platform as the Kushaq and Slavia. It will be powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 114 bhp and 178 Nm and will come with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. While the Kylaq is making its global debut on November 6, its market launch is slated for sometime next year.
Launch: November 11, 2024
Expected Price: ₹7 - 10 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Just like the fourth-gen Swift made its way to India, the fourth-gen Dzire will soon join the Maruti Suzuki line-up too. For the first time, the Dzire will look starkly different from the Swift with a completely new face, rear end and profile. The new Dzire will have wide headlamps with a two-part grille, small LED fog lamps and squarish taillamps connected by a chrome strip. The interior is also expected to be similar to the new Swift but will have beige and black colours. Under the hood, expect the Dzire to have the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine with 80 bhp and 112 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
Launch: November 12, 2024
Expected Price: ₹1.5 crore (ex-showroom, India)
The second AMG model for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will also be the last launch for Mercedes-Benz in India. The C 63 S E Performance gets 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to an electric motor producing 662 bhp and 1020 Nm (combined), making it the most powerful four-cylinder car on the road. The AMG C-Class only has one competitor in India – the Audi RS5 – but that produces less power (444 bhp and 600 Nm).
Unveil: November 26, 2024
Expected Price: ₹20 lakh onwards (ex-showroom, India)
Mahindra will unveil not one but two electric SUVs later this month. The XUV.e9 will be an all-electric coupe version of the XUV 700. Both the electric SUVs – the XUV.e9 and BE.05 – will be based on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform and come with EV-specific design language. The two SUVs are also likely to come with Mahindra’s new EV logo that it showcased in 2023.
