A lot of new launches are coming up this month, the biggest one being a whole new brand!
The festive season is right around the corner, and several manufacturers are gearing up to launch new products in India. There’s an SUV, a high-performance coupe, and a new brand launching in India. Mahindra will also showcase multiple new concepts this month. So let’s take a look at what’s soon going to be on offer!
Launch: August 1, 2025
Price: ₹71.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Volvo’s best-selling car in India has gotten a makeover, yet again. The second facelift for the XC60 has been launched here at ₹71.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is just ₹15,000 more than before. Read more about it here, or read our review. You can even watch the review in the video below.
Launch: August 12, 2025
Expected Price: ₹2 crore (ex-showroom, India)
You must be wondering, if the CLE already exists in the market, how is it being launched again? Well, it’s the full-fat AMG version, the CLE 53, that’s coming now. It will also be a coupe, while the existing CLE is a convertible. Powering the AMG CLE 53 is a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine churning out 443 bhp and 560 Nm, sending power to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Expected Launch: Mid-August 2025
Expected Price: ₹24.50 - 26.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Tata Motors is expected to launch updated versions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. However, there’s no indication about what these updates could involve. There could be updates across each SUV’s entire variant lineup, or new variants might be added.
Unveil: August 15, 2025
This Independence Day, Mahindra will not launch a new car, but instead it will showcase a brand new platform as well as four concepts. The platform is called Freedom_Nu, while the concepts are called Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T and Vision.SXT. Not a lot is known about them yet, apart from the fact that they will all be produced at Mahindra’s plant in Chakan, Pune.
Expected Launch: Late August 2025
Expected Price: ₹25 - 30 lakh (VF6), ₹35 - 40 lakh (VF7) (ex-showroom, India)
Vietnamese manufacturer VinFast made its debut in India at the Auto Expo 2025 and will soon be launching in India with not one but two SUVs, the VF6 and VF7. It remains to be seen whether VinFast will launch them one at a time, or both together. The company already has 13 dealer partners, and has just opened its first showroom in Surat. It has also partnered with myTVS, RoadGrid and Global Assure to improve its after-sales network.
