2024 is off to a great start, with brands launching new smartphones across different price segments. April is shaping up to be a big month for new mobile phone launches packed with cutting-edge technology. Here's a preview of some of the most anticipated phones launching in April 2024 in India.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 is scheduled to launch on April 1 as its latest affordable offering powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Ahead of the official announcement, OnePlus has revealed the design and confirmed that the Nord CE 4 features a 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. In addition, the Nord CE 4 supports 100W fast charging and will be offered with upto 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with an option to expand the storage further by 1TB.
The Realme 12x is all set to launch on April 2 in India. Realme has revealed most of the specifications of the 12x, including the design. The Realme 12x features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Dimensity 6100+ processor and has dual cameras headlined by a 50MP primary camera. The phone is expected to be priced under Rs 12,000.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is slated to launch on April 3 in India, and it is confirmed to have a metal body with a vegan leather finish. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and features a 6.5-inch 1.5K Pantone-validated 144Hz refresh rate display. It also has a 50MP primary camera paired with a macro and ultrawide lens. In addition, it is teased to offer 125W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging speeds.
The Realme C65 is expected to feature a vertical camera setup on its rear and come in black and purple. The design resembles the Samsung Galaxy S22, boasting a centred punch-hole display and the Dynamic Button introduced in the Realme 12 5G.
Infinix is set to launch its Note 40 series in India this April, comprising four models: Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G, Note 40 Pro 5G, Note 40 Pro 4G, and Note 40 4G. The teaser suggests the focus will be on the Infinix Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+ models, featuring the 20W wireless MagCharge and wireless reverse charging powered by the proprietary Cheetah X1 chip. Other specifications include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, Dimensity 7020 SoC, 108MP primary camera, and up to 100W fast wired charging support.
Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G are expected to launch soon in India. The M55 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, while the M15 has Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The phones will also feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED display and a 6,000mAh battery.
