From bikes with brand new engines to even new brands, TVS has quite the exciting line-up of motorcycles and scooters awaiting launch.
TVS has been on a roll off late and its business has never been better. The brand ended FY25 raking its highest revenue which was 14 per cent more than what it clocked in FY24. So, clearly there’s a steady demand for TVS products in the country, and if you are waiting to buy one of their bikes in the future, then hold on to your purchase decision. For here are three upcoming launches from TVS that could be worth the wait:
The TVS Apache RTX will be the brand’s first adventure bike that is slated to launch soon. The last time its test mule was spotted, TVS’ MD Sudarshan Venu was spotted riding the bike alongside the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure – leaving no doubt the kind of performance it was aiming for as its benchmark. It will be powered by a brand new 299 cc, liquid-cooled mill which TVS showcased last year. In typical TVS fashion, the Apache RTX is expected to be loaded to the gill with numerous features like different ride modes, cruise control, traction control, and more. So, hold on to your purchase decision if you’re planning to buy a mid-capacity ADV bike.
Affordable electric scooters will be the way forward, not just for TVS, but for the entire electric two-wheeler industry. As part of that strategy, the Hosur-based manufacturer is working on introducing a new range of affordable electric scooters which might be positioned under the Jupiter brand name and could launch this festive season. Test mules of the same have already been spotted in real world conditions. Being low-cost models, these scooters will be powered by a smaller battery, get less features and will slot below the TVS iQube, which was also recently updated with a slightly bigger battery and the asking price was slashed pretty aggressively.
After the Indian government successfully signed a Free Trade Agreement with the UK, TVS confirmed that it will be launching Norton Motorcycles in India by the end of this year. Norton's journey in India will start with its premium portfolio which includes the likes of the Commando 961, V4SV and the V4CR. TVS has also collaborated with the British brand to develop new, affordable motorcycles for the Indian market. These bikes will compete in the middleweight space that includes 350 cc-500 cc bikes. However, details about these bikes are still under wraps, and are expected to go on sale by late 2026 to take on the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350, Triumph Speed 400 and the Honda CB H’ness 350.
The brand’s upcoming 299 cc mill will also be used to power a brand new supermoto bike called the RTS X. The design patent of the same was recently trademark thus signaling the fact that it will make its way to reality. TVS had even showcased the concept bike earlier this year at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, and judging by the looks of it, we’re hopeful it will be one exciting bike to ride. Head to the link here for all the details.
Another game changer that TVS is working on is the world’s first CNG scooter. It will be based on the Jupiter platform and TVS showcased the concept scooter in all its glory earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. While the scooter looked the same as the TVS Jupiter 125, with the CNG tank onboard, there was barely any underseat storage space at all. However, we don’t have a launch date as of yet but it could make its debut in 2026, so head to the link here if you want to know more about the scooter.
