Vayve Eva – India’s First Solar Car To Be Unveiled At Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025

Vayve Mobility is set to unveil Eva, its compact solar-electric car, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi that will take place from January 17-22, 2025. Following its initial showcase at Auto Expo 2023, the updated Eva brings significant improvements to address urban mobility challenges.

The compact EV offers a 250 km range per charge, with solar panels contributing an additional 3,000 km annually at no cost. Its high-voltage powertrain enables quick charging, adding a 50 km range in 5 minutes. As for its performance, the Vayve Eva can do the 0-40 kmph dash in just 5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 70 kmph.

Operating costs are notably low at ₹0.5 per kilometre, compared to ₹5 for petrol vehicles. The car features modern connectivity options, including smartphone integration and over-the-air updates. The company positions Eva as an efficient second car option for urban families, focusing on combining practical city use with sustainable technology.
