Vinfast is gearing up to launch its third electric passenger vehicle in India in the form of VF MPV 7 tomorrow. Pre-bookings for the battery-powered MPV are already underway at a token amount of ₹21,000 across all 50 authorised Vinfast in the country as well as through the official website. Besides the MPV 7 for consumer buyers, Vinfast will also launch the Limo Green, a commercial version of the same for fleet operators.
The VF MPV 7 will be based on the same architecture as VF6 and VF7. Ahead of its official launch tomorrow, let us look at what we know so far about the VF MPV 7.
In terms of design, the MPV is expected to come with LED headlamps, connected taillamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, and VinFast’s signature lighting elements. The new Vinfast MPV 7 measures 4,740 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. This makes it larger than the likes of potential rivals like Kia Carens Clavis EV and Mahindra XEV 9S The width and height measure 1,872 mm and 1,734 mm respectively. Vinfast will offer the VF MPV 7 in six exterior colour options namely Infinity Blanc, Jet Black, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, Moonlit Ocean, and Introspective Brown.

The VF MPV 7 will be available with two interior theme options - Black and Brown. We expect the MPV 7 to come solely as a 7-seat layout at the time of launch. Features expected to be offered in the VF MPV 7 include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with both Type-A and Type-C charging ports. The driver’s seat is expected to be height-adjustable, while the steering wheel could offer both tilt and telescopic adjustment. Other interior highlights will include leatherette upholstery, connected ambient lighting, and keyless entry.

Powering the model is a front-wheel-drive (FWD) electric motor that produces 201 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under 10 seconds. The MPV 7 is equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of over 500 km on a single charge. Fast-charging capability will also be supported.

Like VF6 and VF7, we expect Vinfast MPV 7 to be priced competitively around ₹22 lakh (ex-showroom).
