The VW Tiguan facelift was first launched in December 2021
Volkswagen India has updated the Tiguan SUV. The company’s flagship SUV is priced at Rs. 34.69 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Tiguan facelift was first launched in December 2021 and back then it was priced at Rs. 31.99 lakh. The car then underwent a few price revisions and now sees a jump of Rs. 2.70 lakh.
The company has made quite a few changes though to the car and there are a lot of new features that have been introduced in the car. Inside, the SUV gets a dual-tone storm grey interiors, along with wireless mobile charging.

It also comes equipped with Park Assist which VW says is a Level 1 ADAS system. Beside this the Tiguan now complies with the RDE norms in India. The engine is the same 2-litre unit, producing 188 bhp.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, “We are certain the enhanced Tiguan will attract many more Indian customers to the Volkswagen family enabling them to experience & enjoy our flagship model.”

The company announced that it will launch more action models this year of the Tiguan and the Virtus as well, and those will come in due course. We wait, now for the manual versions of the Taigun and the Virtus with the 1.5-litre unit which will truly be a treat to drive.
