Xiaomi revealed impressive figures: 240 million smartphones and over 350 million devices sold in India over the past decade.
In a grand celebration of its decade-long presence in India, Xiaomi unveiled a range of new products at its 10th anniversary event in Bengaluru. The company launched the highly anticipated Redmi 13 budget smartphone, two power banks, Redmi Buds 5C earbuds, and the Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10. In addition, Xiaomi also hinted at the company's ambitious plans for the future in India, one of its most crucial markets, by showcasing its first EV sports sedan car, the Xiaomi SU7 Max.
Reflecting on its journey, Xiaomi revealed impressive figures: 240 million smartphones and over 350 million devices sold in India over the past decade. The company has also moved over 20 million power banks in the country. Xiaomi aims to double its shipments to 70+ crore devices in India over the next ten years.
The Redmi 13 5G is the successor to the best-selling Redmi 12 5G. This new model breaks ground as the first smartphone in India to feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE (Accelerated Edition) chipset. The Redmi 13 has a 108-megapixel primary camera with a 2-megapixel macro camera, complemented by a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
The Redmi 13 5G sports a 6.79-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi's HyperOS and packs a 5,030mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. It is available in Black Diamond, Hawaiian Blue, and Moonstone Silver colours. The Redmi 13 is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 15,499 for the 8GB+128GB model.
Xiaomi also introduced the Redmi Buds 5C, featuring 40dB wide Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a promised 36-hour battery life with the charging case. Priced at Rs 1,999, these earbuds will be available from July 20th.
Xiaomi unveiled two new power banks— the Pocket Power Bank 10000mAh and the Power Bank 4i 10000mAh. Both support 22.5W fast charging and feature multiple ports for versatile device charging. The Pocket Power Bank costs Rs 1,699, while the Power Bank 4i costs Rs 1,299.
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Cleaner X10 rounds out the new product lineup. This smart cleaning device offers 4000Pa suction power, LDS Laser Navigation for precise mapping, and a 2-in-1 vacuum-mop design. Priced at Rs 34,999 (with an introductory price of Rs. 29,999), it promises to simplify home cleaning with its Vacuum and Mop features.
