Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 13C in the Indian market next month. The Redmi 13C was originally launched in global markets earlier this year and is powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 chipset. However, as per a 91mobiles report, the Indian variant of the phone will come with an upgraded MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
The Helio G99 is a more recent and powerful chip than the Helio G85 based on an improved manufacturing process. It provides marginally higher clock speeds for better performance.
Apart from the processor upgrade, the rest of the specifications are said to remain the same as the global model. It includes a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, dual rear cameras of 50MP + 2MP, 8MP front camera, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
