An affordable twin-cylinder bobber from China that could be launched in Europe
Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zongshen has revealed the final design of its Cyclone RA 600 Bobber, a muscular cruiser with a striking resemblance to Triumph's Bonneville Bobber. While the bike boasts a powerful twin-cylinder engine and classic bobber features, its arrival in Europe remains uncertain.
The Cyclone RA 600 features a custom frame. It has a single-seater "open-air" seat as the brand calls it. The bike rides on 16-inch wheels on both ends. Notably, the front fork is designed to resemble a Hossack system, while the swingarm mimics a rigid structure. These elements combine to create a "bad boy" and retro aesthetic that's central to the bobber style. The tubular swingarm follows suit, mimicking a rigid hardtail frame for that quintessential bobber look.
The Chinese motorcycle is powered by a 560cc liquid cooled twin-cylinder engine. This churns out 59 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. The estimated weight sits around 200 kg, slightly heavier than Zongshen's RA 401 model.
While the official price in China starts at a competitive 4,000 euros (₹3.57 lakh), Zongshen hasn't confirmed a launch date or plans for European export. However, their partnership with Piaggio might pave the way for the RA 600's arrival on European soil.
