For licences which have expired for more than 5 years, you may be asked to appear for a driving test before renewing the DL.
Is a medical certificate a mandatory document to obtain a driving licence?
A medical certificate is not a mandatory document; however, it is compulsory if the applicant is more than 50 years of age. Also, those applicants requiring a DL to drive a commercial or transport vehicle will need to submit a medical certificate.
Where can I apply for the international driving licence or permit?
You can apply for the international driving licence from the local RTO by paying the required fees and passing the prescribed tests.
When will the Anand RTO deliver my Learner’s Licence (LL)?
The LL will be handed over to the applicant on the same day of passing the LL test. As for the DL, the RTO will send it by post to your registered mailing address, while the international driving licence will be handed over to you in person.
