From competitive pricing to many innovative features, with the arrival of facelift, the wait is finally over. The revised SUV's front and rear profiles are evident in the facelift, displaying several design aspects.
The wide and upright grille with a front camera, the split LED headlamp system, the silver faux skid plates, the reworked bumper with an ADAS radar sensor, and the full-width LED light bar that doubles as DRLs are a few of the exterior features. Nothing much has changed in the side profile other than the chic new alloy wheels. Moving over to the back, large skid plates are hidden inside the modified bumper, and recently installed LED tail lamps resemble the front DRL.

The Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 prices vary from one city to another. So, here's an overview of them all:
In this section, uncover the exterior, interior, performance, features, and safety of the latest Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024.
Hyundai completely redesigned the Creta's exterior. Apart from a side perspective, it is completely unlike the previous model. With a redesigned rectangular grille with three horizontal slats and a full-width LED DRL strip that terminates with inverted L-shaped features at the edges, the updated SUV has an entirely new face that is more boxy and upright.
The main LED headlamp cluster is now revamped with the reworked bumper into a rectangular split quad-beam headlight arrangement stacked vertically. The silver trim above the windows makes the side profile easily identifiable as a Creta. Hyundai has decided to stick with the original tyre size. On the top-tier model, though, the 17-inch alloy wheels feature a fresh style.
Most people would be pleased to see that the contentious design has been altered to one that is aesthetically attractive to most people from behind. The focal point is a sizable connected tail lamp with thin sequential indications. Strangely, the bumper has one centre reverse lamp positioned very low. This can be difficult to see in parking lots and malls.
The interior of the Creta is still decorated in two tones, but the dashboard has been updated and appears to have been influenced by the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The twin 10.25-inch linked screens, which are probably the same as those on the Kia Seltos, significantly improve the modern quotient. Ambient lighting is located in a recess beneath the black piano panel that houses the side AC vent on the front passenger side of the dashboard.
The updated centre console retains its integration of the HVAC controls, which appear to be a touch-enabled screen while featuring revised central air conditioning vents. A fully digital instrument cluster with programmable views, information on ADAS, and even turn-by-turn navigation is among the amenities that the Creta now boasts. There are a few exclusive features, such as adjustable driver seats and wireless charging pads. In addition to these, there are also ventilated seats in the front.
The cabin is much more upscale than the previous models, although it was also good on those models. That would have added a premium feel. The new model has a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, and amazing sound systems. In addition to many other features, this latest version will come with a 360-degree camera and dual-zone climate control.
The new model has three different engine options.
The first is a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine that produces 114 horsepower and 250 nm of torque.
The next is a 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol engine that grants 158 horsepower and 253 nm torque.
The last is a 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine, which produces 113 horsepower and 144 nm of torque.
The new Hyundai Creta has numerous transmission options, including a six-speed manual, seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission), six-speed automatic, and the IVT transmission with the petrol engine.
In terms of performance, the new Hyundai Creta leaves no stone unturned. The 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine offers a maximum power of 113.18 BHP @ 6300 and a maximum torque of 143.8 Nm @ 4500 rpm. Then comes the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine with a maximum power of 113.98 BHP @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 250 Nm @ 1500-2750 rpm. Lastly, the 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 157.57 BHP @ 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 253 Nm @ 1500-3500 rpm.
There is no official claim or notification from Hyundai about the new Hyundai Creta's top-speed potential. However, a closer look at this SUV's dimensions and engine specs helps clarify things. Given this consideration, it is fair to conclude that the SUV can reach a top speed of 190 km/h to even 200 km/h.
The Hyundai Creta Diesel's stated ARAI mileage is 21.8 km/l. The petrol-powered model's is 17.4 km/l, and the diesel automatic version's is 19.1 km/l. The petrol model's fuel efficiency is 18.4 km/l.
The redesigned model shares the exact dimensions as the outgoing model, except for a 30 mm length increase. The new bumpers have extended the length by 30 mm on paper, but the total width, height, wheelbase, and front/rear tracks remain the same. The ground clearance also remains the same at 190mm.
The boot space stays the same at 433 litres. This boot is broad and shallow. Carrying several tiny trolley bags is better than holding one large one. With some room left over for a backpack, we could fit two cabin trolley bags and a medium-sized bag inside.
Alternatively, this boot easily accommodates four cabin trolley bags. There is a 60:40 split feature in case you need to bring along additional luggage.
Following are the essential measurements of the new model.
Width: 1,790 mm
Length: 4,330 mm
Height: 1635 mm
The wheelbase has been kept the same as its previous generation, which is 2,610 mm.
Like the previous version, the latest Hyundai Creta Facelift comes in seven colour variations, including:
Atlas White
Ranger Khaki
Titan Grey
Abyss Black
Fiery Red
Robust Emerald Pearl
Dual-tone options — Abyss Black roof and Atlas White.
In terms of variants, the new Hyundai Creta comes in 7 broad variants, and each of these variants is available with either a petrol or diesel engine, depending on your preferences. So, let’s check out the breakdown of these variants:
E: This is the base variant of the new Hyundai Creta, available in petrol and diesel options.
EX: This variant is an upgrade from the base variant with more added features and specifications.
S: The new Hyundai Creta S is only available with a manual transmission, but it shares many standard features with other variants.
S(O): This is a popular choice among Creta lovers since this is the lowest variant that allows you to opt for the new Knight variant.
SX: This is the start towards the top-end variants of the new Hyundai Creta, which comes with features that are not always available in the lower variants.
SX Tech: This is the second-highest variant of the new Hyundai Creta, and you also get ADAS safety features.
SX(O): This is the final and priciest variant, where you can get the car in the new Knight version with all the latest and advanced features.
As you can see, the new Hyundai Creta has an extensive selection of variants, giving everyone the flexibility to choose according to their preferences. Each of these variants has petrol or diesel engine options, while the other features remain mostly unchanged. The SX(O) is also available with all transmission options, but that is not the case with other variants.
That said, let’s check out this new Hyundai Creta variant comparison table for a better idea:

Of all the seven variants the new Hyundai Creta offers, the SX variant seems to strike the right balance between practicality and premiumness. While this variant lacks a few advanced features like ADAS and front-row ventilated seats, it still offers great value for money. That said, let’s take a look at the logic behind arriving at this conclusion:
Regarding the features of the new Hyundai Creta SX variant, the SUV has most of the latest features, which are not easily available in lower variants. Of course, there are some premium features that you will only get with the SX Tech or SX(O) variants, but they also charge you a lot for that added convenience. Besides, given this variant's existing features, you will unlikely recognise a difference.
There is no room for complaints regarding the safety features of the new Hyundai Creta. You will get most of these features except for a few premium ones, like front parking sensors. But this will rarely make any difference for an experienced driver who understands distances better than sensors.
The new Hyundai Creta SX variant has a single powertrain option: the 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine with only a manual transmission. While this might not bode well with some people’s preferences regarding value for money, it is the best you can get. Besides, it is worth sticking to those manual sticks before all combustion engines go bust and electric motors replace them.
As mentioned, the new Hyundai Creta SX variant only has a single petrol engine option with a manual transmission. Considering that, the variant’s price tag is quite affordable at just ₹17.83 lakhs (on-road price in Delhi). This is a fair price, considering you are getting a powerful engine with some of the most advanced features and specifications.
Hyundai states that the Creta has undergone structural modifications. This includes using more high-strength and advanced high-strength steel in the car's body. Additionally, reinforcements are made at critical locations. We expect great things from the upgraded model, especially because the Verna received a perfect five stars in the Global NCAP.
Numerous safety features are included as standard equipment on all Creta models. This comprises:
ABS With EBD
Vehicle Stability Control
6 Airbags
Hill Start Assist
Electronic Stability Control
Rear Disc Brakes
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
ISOFIX Child seat Mounts
Hyundai has brought more than innovation and sleek design this time with the new model. The new model will surely keep on its class with not only its features but also its pricing. But even so, this is not the lone SUV in the market, and some worthy competitors are on its list. So, let’s compare the new Hyundai Creta with some of its most worthy rivals.

Here's how the new facelifted Hyundai Creta is different from its older variants:
The 2024 Creta facelift has been redesigned, particularly to the front. Compared to the older model, it has a more squared-off appearance. It has a full-width LED DRL with an inverted "L" shaped signature and a redesigned rectangular grille. In addition, a redesigned bumper with a thick skid plate that matches the overall boxy front contains the squared-out LED headlamps.
Hyundai has improved its interior design by a few steps. The new model’s design is completely out of the box, and sophistication is still in place. This latest model comes with advanced design additions. One of these additions is the dual-screen configuration for the infotainment system. Additionally, the cabin looks bigger and more elegant, thanks to the multicoloured design.
Like all Hyundai vehicles, the 2017 Creta's equipment list has generated a lot of discussion. With amenities like dual-zone climate control, a two-step adjustable rear seat backrest, a 360-degree camera, and an extensive suite of connected car functions, Hyundai has added to the already lavishly equipped outgoing car. However, the camera-based ADAS suite on higher-spec vehicles must be the main talking point.
The only notable change is that the new model's turbo-petrol powertrain will come from the Verna. Other than that, it is just as it was with 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre MPi petrol engine options.
Enhanced style and refined appearance
Better quality and interior design
Two 10.25" displays
Level 2 ADAS
Panoramic sunroof
Shallow boot spaces.
