The all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is different from its predecessor. The first primary difference is that the updated sedan has dropped "Swift" from its title, making it an entirely new car. Exterior Styling 

The first difference between the exteriors of both sedans is in the front fascia. While the old Swift Dzire had a more curvy appeal, the new avatar of the sedan has a sharper look. The latest version gets LED headlamps and a larger grille that add to its bold appeal. 

Another notable difference is the shark fin antenna and a more pronounced roofline that enhances the sedan's aerodynamics. Then, of course, you get LED tail lamps with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which was unavailable with its predecessors. The boot lip spoiler on the rear of the latest version is another exterior styling and practical aspect you cannot help but notice. 

Cabin Features

The primary difference you will notice when you step inside the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is a larger infotainment system. The carmakers seem to have borrowed this system from the fourth-generation Swift. Then comes the faux wooden trim on the dashboard, replacing the brown shade from the older variants. 

Then comes the new 3-point seatbelt for the middle passenger seat, which you don't get even with the best cars in this segment. However, the noticeable change in the interior of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the single-pane electric sunroof. Besides that, the updated compact sedan also comes with some feature upgrades like the auto AC feature, 360-degree camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).                      

Powertrain Options 

Regarding the powertrain, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is a little disappointing compared to what people were used to. The new sedan ditches the old 4-cylinder engine and now comes with a 3-cylinder Z-series naturally aspirated engine.
