The bikes were already showcased in their concept form at last year’s EICMA.

Hero will have a bunch of new motorcycles to showcase this year in Milan at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show. So will its electric sub-brand Vida, which is slated to unveil two new electric bikes. Both these upcoming products have already been extensively teased on Hero's social media handle, and surprisingly, they seem to be the Lynx and Acro, e-dirt bikes that the brand showcased last year in concept form.

The Lynx was showcased to the world as the bike that was capable of taking on any of the harshest of terrain, due to its light kerb weight. The minimal-panelled body tipped the scales at just 82 kg, including a 3 kWh battery and a 15 kW electric motor (20.1 bhp). Its incredible power-to-weight ratio promised agile and quick performance, and the latest teaser demonstrated something very similar.

As for the Acro, it's an electric mini bike that has a scalable chassis with three points of adjustability to increase or decrease the size. Despite being a bike for kids, it gets the modern suite of safety features, including geo-fencing, a remote ‘disable’ button, and a speed limiter.

Both garnered quite the peak interest last year, even in their concept stage. Whether Hero has now decided to convert those interests into potential sales by launching the production iteration of both remains to be seen.
