Honda's flagship adventure touring motorcycle gets a visual refresh with new colours
Honda has revealed the 2024 model of its adventure touring flagship, the Africa Twin. The motorcycle retains its core mechanical specifications but now offers a refreshed look with new colour options for the ES and Adventure Sports variants.
2024 Honda Africa Twin ES now has a stylish Pearl Glare White paint scheme, complementing the existing Grand Prix Red and Ballistic Black Metallic options. Meanwhile, the road-focused Adventure Sports variant gets a new Matt Iridium Grey Metallic finish alongside the Pearl Glare White option.

Powering the 2024 Honda Africa Twin is a robust 1048cc parallel-twin engine that churns out a healthy 100.05 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. This potent combination ensures the bike delivers thrilling performance on both tarmac and off-road terrain. Riders can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or Honda's advanced Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) for effortless gear shifts.

2024 Honda Africa Twin's underpinnings remain unchanged from its predecessor. A sturdy steel frame forms the backbone of the motorcycle, providing a solid platform for both on and off-road adventures. The suspension setup is handled by Showa units, with the standard model featuring conventional components. The range-topping ES variant benefits from electronically adjustable Showa suspension.
The 2024 Honda Africa Twin is available in different models with various wheel configurations. The standard and ES models come with a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, while the Adventure Sports variant features a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel for improved on-road performance. In terms of braking, the bike is equipped with dual disc brakes at the front with radial-mount callipers, and a single disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS.

The 2024 Honda Africa Twin continues to hold its ground as a formidable contender in the adventure touring segment. Its combination of off-road prowess and long-distance comfort makes it a popular choice for riders seeking versatility. In India, the Africa Twin faces competition from the likes of the Triumph Tiger 900 (₹ 13.95 lakh), BMW R 1300 GS (₹ 20.95 lakh), and Ducati Multistrada V2 (₹ 16.36 lakh). While specific pricing details for the 2024 model in India are awaited, expect it to be competitively positioned against these rivals. Indian enthusiasts can expect the 2024 model to arrive on our shores by the end of the year.
