The 2024 Alcazar facelift will draw design cues from the recently launched Creta facelift.
Hyundai Motor India is gearing up to introduce the facelifted version of its popular three-row SUV, the Alcazar, in September this year. The updated Alcazar has been spotted testing multiple times across the country, generating significant anticipation for the new change to the design as well as the introduction of a fresh equipment list.
The upcoming Alcazar facelift will draw design cues from the recently launched Creta facelift. Notable exterior enhancements include redesigned LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlamps, a revamped grille, and refreshed front and rear bumpers. The SUV will also sport tweaked LED taillights, a reworked tailgate, and a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels, giving it a more contemporary and stylish appearance.
Inside, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar will offer several upgrades aimed at enhancing comfort and convenience. The facelifted model is expected to come equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, which includes features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking. Other notable interior features include ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, and dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and instrument cluster. The SUV will also feature revised upholstery and an electrically adjustable driver seat.
Under the hood, the facelifted Alcazar will continue to offer the existing 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines. These engines will be paired with a choice of 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) units. The specifications of these powertrains are expected to remain unchanged.
Upon its launch, the facelifted Hyundai Alcazar will compete with other three-row SUVs in the Indian market, including the MG Hector Plus, Kia Carens, Tata Safari, and the Mahindra XUV700. Each of these competitors brings its own set of strengths, making the segment highly competitive.
