Updates made to the Honda Activa finally brings the scooter on par with its competition.
Honda has been on an update spree and the latest product to get a bunch of changes is the brand’s most popular offering in India, the Activa. While the 2025 Honda Activa might look a lot similar to the previous model, at least on the surface, there are a bunch of new additions which have finally brought the scooter on par with its competition. The key highlights include:
The 2025 Honda Activa continues to be powered by the same 110 cc, single-cylinder, engine, but it has been updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. Due to which Honda has managed to eke out a bit more performance. While the power output has stayed the same at 7.88 bhp, the torque output has increased slightly from 8.90 Nm to 9.05 Nm. Additionally, Honda has also introduced its Idle-Start-Stop technology with the 2025 Activa, which should help make the engine slightly more frugal than before.
The Honda Activa gains a brand new fully digital cluster for 2025. Its 4.2-inch TFT unit, and just like the Honda Activa 125, it also supports smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. This in turn gets you turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alert. Lastly, there’s a USB Type-C charger onboard, but sadly, all these new introductions will be available with the top-spec Honda Activa H-Smart only.
The overall body design of the Honda Activa has not undergone any visible changes as such, unlike its elder 125 cc sibling. However, there are six new colour options in the mix – Pearl Precious White, Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue, that helps give the scooter a fresh appeal.
Honda has launched the Activa in three variants – STD, DLX, and H-Smart. The base variant is now priced at ₹80,950, which is ₹3,500 more expensive than before. While prices of the other two variants are still under wraps, we expect the marque will update it soon. Bookings for the new Honda Activa have already commenced across all Honda Red Wing showrooms pan India.
