KTM India has yet to confirm the fixed launch date of the upcoming adventure bike, though.
Unofficial bookings for India's most anticipated adventure bike, the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R, have commenced in the country. While KTM India is yet to confirm the exact launch date, certain dealerships have already started accepting orders. This comes in addition to the big bikes KTM will launch on November 14. The brand is slated to launch ten big bikes, including the 1390 Super Duke R and many other big adventure bikes. We have discussed it all, and you can find out more about it in the link here.
As for the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure R, it recently debuted at EICMA 2024. We recently got the chance to be up close with the bike too, and you can check out all the key details that stood out in the video below.
The new KTM 390 Adventure R will be powered by the same 399 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which we've already experienced in the third-gen KTM 390 Duke -- but with a slightly different tune. In addition, it will also gain many new features, like cruise control (the first sub-400 cc KTM to get this feature) and a completely new body style. It will also feature improved suspension with more travel and a new redesigned sub-frame. All of which help make the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure R look bigger, taller and more purposeful than the first-gen bike.
Consequently, the new KTM 390 Adventure R will launch with a premium price tag, which is expected to be ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 more than the current-gen 390 Adventure's price range of ₹3.41 lakh to ₹3.61 lakh. This will make the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R quite expensive in the segment, especially when you compare it with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. But by how much, the exact difference will be revealed soon.
