2024 was quite the big year for KTM. The brand made a comeback to EICMA 2024, launched 18 new motorcycles, and also ushered in new touchscreen instrument clusters for its premium range of bikes, which includes the KTM 1390 Super Duke, Super Duke GT, and the new 1390 Super Adventure duos. However, it’s not done yet for the Mattighofen-based manufacturer has now unveiled the 2025 iteration of the 790 Adventure.

The 2025 iteration represents more than just an update to the previous 790 generation - it’ll slot alongside the 890 Adventure R as the new entry point to KTM’s middleweight adventure bikes. Starting with one of its standout features is its advanced suspension package, which is now a fully adjustable 43mm WP Apex open cartridge front fork and a WP Apex rear shock absorber - both inherited from its larger sibling, the 890 Adventure.
The electronics package has also been updated to now include a new Rally off-road riding mode. Powering this adventure machine is the same 799cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, generating 94bhp and 87 Nm of torque. However, there are two new colour options on offer here, that help the 2025 bike distinguish itself from the bike before.

While KTM has yet to announce official pricing and its availability, the new 790 Adventure will slot below the KTM 890 Adventure R variant which was recently launched in India at ₹15.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike will be launched in global markets initially, and hopefully, we will see the KTM bring it to India as well, now that the brand has quite a few of its premium range on offer here.
