Several new exciting bikes were teased this week with some representing a completely new direction for legacy manufacturers.
Leading up to the 2024 EICMA, legacy two-wheeler manufacturers are building anticipation with a series of exciting teasers and pre-show announcements. From strategic pivots in design direction to evolutionary upgrades, here's a look at how major players are preparing for one of the motorcycle industry's most anticipated exhibitions.

The second generation KTM 390 Adventure will be one of the most anticipated launches this year. Its advent in India will be preceded by its unveil on the show floors of Milan. But ahead of that, the Austrian brand decided to showcase the bike's full potential in an off-road event, albeit in camouflage. Although it was the toned-down KTM 390 Adventure R and not the more potent KTM 390 Enduro R, the former will pack in quite the credentials to be a proper dual-sport bike. Royal Enfield finally announced its electric ambition and released the first teaser. Interestingly, unlike our previous anticipation that it would be an electric ADV, Royal Enfield's debut electric bike will stick to its roadster motorcycle heritage. As part of the Easter egg teaser, Royal Enfield showed the bike being dropped via a parachute, which has us all rattling our brains as to what the bike will be called. Head to the link here to learn more about our predictions and when the bike will be unveiled.

Bajaj Auto is registering some peak interest in Brazil, so much so that the manufacturer has decided to invest more to the tune of ₹84 crore in its subsidiary plant located in the South American state. The Brazil plant already could manufacture 20,000 units, and the latest investment will increase this capacity and be used in other activities to boost sales. Head to the link here, to learn more about this investment and how it will benefit the Indian manufacturer.

After images of Royal Enfield's fifth 650 cc offering, the Classic 650, went viral online, sources confirmed that Royal Enfield will launch the motorcycle soon. We anticipate that the Chennai-based manufacturer will unveil the bike in Milan and eventually make its way to India later this year. How the Classic 650 differentiates from the rest of the 650 cc offerings in Royal Enfield's garage, head to the link here.

KTM fans were in for a treat this week for its quarter-litre naked sport, the 250 Duke was introduced with a slew of updates. As a result, the bike now looks and feels just like its elder sibling, the KTM 390 Duke. But what made it all the better was the new Ebony Black colour option that the bike will be available with now, along with the existing choices.
