Kashyap bought the top-spec Pack Three variant in Stealth Black.
Anurag Kashyap, a renowned Indian filmmaker and actor, has taken delivery of his Mahindra XEV 9e. His electric SUV is finished in a shade of Stealth Black. The XEV 9e is the brand’s flagship electric SUV and retails for ₹22.40 - 31.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Kashyap has bought the top-spec Pack Three variant of the XEV 9e, as Mahindra has not yet begun deliveries of the other variants.
The Mahindra XEV 9e was first showcased to the public in November 2024 and prices were announced in phases. Prices for the base-spec Pack One were announced back in November itself, while prices for top-spec Pack Three were announced in January. Mahindra silently announced the prices of mid-spec Pack Two right before the bookings opened on February 13.
The XEV 9e, as mentioned earlier, is Mahindra’s flagship electric SUV and is based on its new INGLO platform. It has a coupe SUV design language and has many unique design elements. Up front, it has interesting triangular headlamps complemented by a full-width LED lightbar and a similar treatment is visible at the rear.
Inside, the top-spec XEV 9e comes with a triple-screen layout measuring 43.3 inches, and three 12.3-inch displays where the first is an instrument cluster, the second is an infotainment touchscreen and the third is for the front passenger’s entertainment. It also gets a two-spoke steering wheel with various touch-capacitive buttons.
The XEV 9e gets two battery pack options – a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh unit. Only the top-spec Pack Three variant gets the larger battery, while the rest have the smaller battery pack. If you want to know more about it, head here.
