TVS Motor Company reported that in April 2025 it retailed 4,30,330 two-wheelers, which was 15 per cent more than what it sold in April 2024. Even on a month-on-month basis the brand’s two-wheeler sales increased by 7.55 per cent, wherein in March 2025 it retailed 4,00,120 units. In the domestic market alone, TVS sold 3,23,647 units last month, out of which 2,20,527 units were motorcycles, while 1,69,741 units were scooters. Motorcycle sales grew by 17 per cent, while sales of its scooters grew by 18 per cent.
But it was the sales of its electric scooter that registered the maximum year-on-year growth at 59 per cent. With sales rising from 17,403 units in April 2024 to 27,684 units in April 2025. But on a month-on-month basis, sales of the TVS iQube saw a marginal increase of 2.78 per cent. It's due to this promising growth which has convinced TVS Motor Company that it needs to focus more in the EV sector. TVS’ CEO KN Radhakrishnan has also confirmed that new electric vehicles are slated for launch in the coming quarter.

Besides good domestic sales, TVS Motor Company has also registered a healthy 45 per cent growth in export business. A total of 1,16,880 units were exported last month, compared to 80,508 units it did in the same period last year. Out of the 1,16,880 units exported, 1,06,683 units were two-wheelers and this segment registered 46 per cent increase in business.
As we stated above, TVS Motor Company has quite the exciting year ahead wherein it is slated to launch a couple of new bikes as well. This includes its first adventure motorcycle, the RTX 300. It will be powered by a brand new 299 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of peak torque.
