Auto Sales July 2023: MG Motor India Month-On-Month Sales Dip By 2.2%

MG Motor India today announced its retail sales of 5,012 units in July 2023. While this number is better than the period sold last year (4013 units), the company has witnessed a dip in sales compared to June 2023. In June this year, the company sold 5125 units and though the company has sold over 5000 units even in July, there’s a very marginal dip in sales.

The company has stated that the retail sales were impacted due to severe weather and floods witnessed in major parts of the country recently. MG Motor India currently has 5 vehicles in its portfolio and recently both the Hector and the Gloster SUVs received major updates.

The Hector has been a strong seller for the company and the Astor too has done decent numbers. The company plans to push out more cars into the Indian market soon.
