The smallest N-series Pulsar will be a new bike from the ground up.
Bajaj Auto has been busy throughout 2024. From launching the halo Pulsar, the Pulsar NS400Z to updating its entire Pulsar portfolio with a new fully digital instrument cluster, the manufacturer had something for every month.
Going forward, the Chakan-based manufacturer is not slowing down anytime soon, for it is slated to launch another brand new Pulsar, the Pulsar N125, on October 19. We had already spotted the test mule before; however, the latest spy shots give us a clearer idea of what to expect.
For starters, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 will be a completely new bike from the ground up. It will share its underpinnings with the other bigger Pulsar N-series bikes. However, the 125 cc engine will be brand new. From the spy shots, we can concur that this mill will be an air-cooled unit, and just like the Pulsar 125, the upcoming Pulsar N125 might feature the same 5-speed gearbox as well.

Beyond that, the body gets the same sleek and aggressive design as seen on other Pulsar N series bikes. However, the headlight unit looks very similar to the one on the Pulsar NS400Z, especially with the Z-shaped DRLs.. Additionally, the telescopic fork and monoshock, and the alloy wheel design have all been spotted in other Pulsars as well. However, the test mule spotted here had a single disc brake on the front wheel, while the rear wheel featured drum brake.
On the feature front, Bajaj’s latest full-LCD instrument cluster also seems to have been carried over here. This unit supports Bluetooth connectivity and thereby features like call/SMS, notification alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation are expected to make their way to the baby Pulsar N series bike too.
The launch of the Pulsar N125 will be crucial for Bajaj to strengthen its foothold in the 125 cc segment. Especially when you have bikes like the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider 125 raking in some solid sale figures. Thus, recognising the need for more sporty commuters in the country, the launch of the new Bajaj Pulsar N125 couldn’t have been more appropriate.
