The 13-day rally will see 15 riders from the Indian Navy ride 1,649 kilometres across the country.
Bajaj Auto and the Indian Armed Forces have kickstarted a 13-day motorcycle rally called 'Dare2', featuring the Pulsar NS400Z. The 1,649-kilometre journey, starting from Visakhapatnam and ending in Ayodhya, commenced on January 13, 2025.
Fifteen riders from the Indian Navy are participating in the rally, which will pass through INS Chilka, Bhubaneswar, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Gaya, and Varanasi before concluding at the Dogra Regiment in Ayodhya on 2025 Republic Day. The event marks INS Ranvijay's 37th anniversary and aims to promote mental health awareness whilst strengthening ties with the Dogra Regiment. Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command, flagged off the rally from the Eastern Fleet Headquarters.

Bajaj launched the Pulsar NS400Z last year to much fun fare. After all, at ₹1.85 lakh, it is the most affordable sub-400 cc bike that one can buy in the market. Powered by the same 373 cc, liquid-cooled engine that debuted with the first gen KTM 390 Duke, Bajaj tuned the mill to produce 39.45 bhp and 35 Nm. While these performance figures might not sound much, and yet the Pulsar NS400Z is one of the most powerful bikes in this price bracket. So it was only fitting that Bajaj decided to use the “Biggest Pulsar Yet” to commemorate the anniversary of such an important naval ship.
“The Armed Forces embody the spirit of daring, resilience, and a thirst for thrill - attributes that Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z perfectly mirrors,” noted Sumeet Narang, President, Marketing, at Bajaj Auto Ltd. “The Dare2 is a joint effort to ignite passion for the armed forces amongst young Indians and we are thrilled to partner with Bajaj Auto Ltd to embark on this 13-day ride to celebrate the ‘daring’ spirit – of both the armed forces and the Pulsar NS400Z,” concluded Saxena.
