The Honda 0 Series is positioned as a significant step forward in realising Honda's "M/M concept 1."
At CES 2024, Honda introduced the "Honda 0 Series," a forthcoming global electric vehicle (EV) lineup set to launch in 2026. Unveiling two concept models, the Saloon and Space-Hub, Honda also revealed the new H mark exclusively designated for its next-generation EVs. The Honda 0 Series is positioned as a significant step forward in realising Honda's "M/M concept 1."
In developing the Honda 0 Series, the engineering team revisited Honda's core values, aiming to redefine the nature of EVs in the evolving automotive landscape. The focus is on transcending the traditional challenges associated with heavy battery loads, large vehicle bodies, and platforms necessitated by extended-range requirements.

These new Honda EVs will be constructed on a dedicated EV architecture, promising aesthetic design Level 3 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Internet of Things integration, connected technologies, and enhanced efficiency performance. Looking ahead to the latter half of the 2020s, the Honda 0 Series models are slated to incorporate an Automated Driving (AD) system, offering more affordable EV options with increased automated driving functionalities.

Addressing concerns about charging and battery longevity, the Honda 0 Series aims to deliver charging and battery performance that minimizes degradation over extended periods of use. Fast-charging times from 15 per cent to 80 per cent are projected to be reduced to approximately 10-15 minutes for the models launching in the latter half of the 2020s. Leveraging battery system control technology refined through extensive data gathered from over 1 million Honda electrified vehicles, the company strives to limit battery capacity degradation (range) to less than 10 per cent after a decade of use.
